Often those addicted to drugs or alcohol will generate a ripple effect, although they are usually too self-absorbed to notice or care. Some ripples last long and go deep like a child losing his parent to a fatal overdose, or a mother burying her son who drank while driving.
Equally, this ripple effect works both ways. Restored lives can also have a tremendous impact. Some who arrive at U-Turn For Christ begin the program with a trail of destruction behind them, but when they decide to turn from their addictions and live for Jesus, they start influencing others for the Lord.
